</script></div><p>The best way to get you ahead in life is to keep always a positive mental attitude. Think positive and you will start to see positive things happen. The most biggest realisation I have had, was when I realised that feelings come from the inside and not so much from the outside. You mostly can not blame others for feeling bad, because feeling bad is a choice you yourself have made.</p>
<p>Goal setting is also an equally important thing in life as positive thinking. Goals make you drive towards something. If you never set goals then you never achieve a thing, because you can not measure your achievement.</p>
<h2>Positive Thinking</h2>
<p>Positive thinking is a motor that drives you forward. If your motor is not running then you are not going places. You must always think "I can", I am good at this, I am positive. When you keep thinking like this, also your feelings will start to change. The obstacles you have in life feel seem smaller and your possibilities seem bigger.</p>
<p>It is not always easy to be positive. There are many times when bad things happen and you just feel down. These times are testing points, where you can measure the size of your thinking. Make yourself find positive things and you will. Ask yourself what is good about this situation and how can I benefit from it. By asking questions to yourself you can redirect your focus in to positive things. Use it whenever you need to feel better.</p>
<h2>Setting Goals</h2>
<p>In order to advance in life and in your career, you need to set yourself goals. These goals must be firmly fixed in your mind and they must be clear. I recommend that you right now stop and take a sheet of paper. Write the things that you want to achieve in life and set specific dates when you want the goal to be achieved. Now you have a list, that can be your guide when going through life.</p>
<p>After you have set your goals the way to motivate yourself is to visualise these goals already completed. Close your eyes and think of what it will feel like when your goals are completed. Think specifically what type of house you will have and what you will look like. These visualisations will keep your mind in track when you start to slip away from driving towards your goals.</p>
<h2>Conclusion</h2>
<p>This has been a short introduction to setting goals and positive thinking. These two are the most important things in life. Without them you will feel bad and have no sense of direction. Make always goals and think positive. Then you will start to see good things happening to you.</p>
